Role Overview

LIC is inviting women candidates to join as Bima Sakhi (Mahila Career Agents) under the MCA (Mahila Career Agent) scheme. This is a stipendiary role for 3 years, where you can build a career in life insurance sales and earn a monthly stipend plus commissions.

This is not a salaried job but a career opportunity with LIC, where your income depends on performance and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Sell and promote LIC life insurance policies.
• Achieve performance targets each year:
  
  
• Minimum 24 lives insured.
• Minimum ₹48,000 First Year Commission (FYC) excluding bonus commission.
  
  
• Maintain active policies (at least 65% of policies should remain in force for 2nd and 3rd year stipends).
• Build trust with clients and provide them with guidance on LIC products.
  
  

Stipend Details

• Year 1: ₹7,000 per month.
• Year 2: ₹6,000 per month (only if 65% of Year 1 policies are active).
• Year 3: ₹5,000 per month (only if 65% of Year 2 policies are active).
  
  

In addition, you earn commissions on policies sold.

Eligibility Criteria

• Age: Minimum 18 years (on date of application), Maximum 70 years.
• Education: Must have passed 10th standard or higher.
• Gender: Women only.
• Exclusions:
  
  
• Relatives of existing LIC agents or employees cannot apply (spouse, children, parents, siblings, in-laws).
• Retired LIC employees or ex-agents cannot apply.
• Existing LIC agents cannot apply.
